Teaching Methods
The method used in learning is cooperative learning, the teacher provides material and also gives some questions related to the material. To teach the concept, the teacher explains by conducting a science apparatus demonstration. After conducting demonstrations, students are asked to analyze and answer the questions in the module. The teacher gives opportunities for students to ask questions about the subject matter.
Learning Materials and Innovation
The materials learning used in the form of modules, in the module there is a summary of the materials and activities. Which on each activity in the module, the teacher demonstrates the science apparatus. The teacher asked one of the students to volunteer in front of the class. In addition to each activity, there is also an assessment that can develop students' level of thinking.
Innovation The teacher makes an innovation, to motivate student learning by providing creative and unique teaching media. For example, the teacher teaches an atomic model using animation of the atom. With the animation can make it easier for students to imagine the atomic model. Actually, the atom is difficult to explain because it cannot be seen.
Sources of Learning and Technology
The source of learning used comes from the internet, books, and modules. to explain the material concept, the teacher uses a simulation video taken from youtube. The technology used by teachers in learning is only media broadcasting, power points, and projectors.
Authentic Assessment
Authentic assessment seen from three components are cognitive, affective, and psychomotor. these three components must be in the lesson plan. To see the cognitive abilities of students, the teacher usually gives practice exercises or students are told to analyze a problem to develop thinking skills. Affective can be measured by looking at the collaboration and concern of students when conducting discussions in learning. Psychomotor can be measured if students do activities for example to help teachers conduct demonstrations
